chris-lester.com is a personal site published by Lester LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("Lester LLC", "I", "me"). By using it you agree to the short terms below and to the privacy policy that follows.

Terms of use

  • The writing on this site is my opinion based on my experience. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and they are not a promise that anything I describe will work for you. Results I mention are from specific situations and are not typical or guaranteed.
  • Everything on this site is © Lester LLC unless credited. You may quote short excerpts with a link back. Do not republish full posts.
  • Links to other sites, including blueprintdtc.com, take you to sites with their own terms. Programs and services are sold by Blueprint DTC LLC under its own terms.
  • The site is provided as is. Lester LLC is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, to the extent the law allows.
  • Oklahoma law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.

Privacy policy

This policy explains what Lester LLC collects when you use chris-lester.com and our emails, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what we need to deliver what you asked for, we do not sell it, and you can leave any time.

1. What we collect

  • What you give us. Name, email, phone (if you opt in to SMS), store URL, and anything you type into a form.
  • Automatically. Standard analytics: pages viewed, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location from IP. Collected by Google Analytics.

2. How we use it

  • To send you what you asked for: the files, the newsletter, program access, replies to your message.
  • To run the programs: onboarding, check-ins, call reminders, support.
  • To improve the site and our content, using aggregated analytics.
  • To follow up on a contact-form message, including adding you to our newsletter list, which you can leave with one click.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers who process data for us under contract: Klaviyo (email and SMS), Google (analytics), our automation and form tools, and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

4. SMS

We do not currently send SMS from this site.

5. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for analytics and, where enabled, advertising pixels. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where technically possible.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from email with the link in any message; reply STOP to SMS.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing chris@lesterllc.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity.
  • Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide; we honour them for everyone regardless of location.

7. Retention and security

We keep data for as long as you have an account or subscription with us, or as long as you are on our email list, plus the period required for tax and legal records. We use reputable providers, access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Children

The site and programs are for adults running businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
